Mr. Rao joined Desai Brothers Limited in the year 1976, and has been a pillar of guidance & strength in the brand’s overall journey. By developing organizational core competencies, outlining corporate values and creating cross-functional alignment of goals, he has helped build a strong foundation for the division. He assesses and redesigns strategies as per our changing business objectives. His principles of dedication, passion & commitment coupled with impressive industry know-how and business acumen fuels the brand’s overall growth. He aims to make the brand a household name in the future.

Ravinder Pal

General Manager, Marketing

Ravinder brings with himself expertise of over 15 years from the arena of brand & marketing. In this current role, he is responsible for business environment mapping & development of mid and long term strategies, undertake various consumer immersion initiatives & distinctive brand imagery development with 360 approach. In his tenure of over four years with the brand now, he has been pivotal in the conceptualization and launch of the brand Pitaara along with its overall marketing strategy framework. He aspires to develop this brand into a disruptive player breaking into a new dimension of consumer experience.

Chandrashekhar brings his invaluable experience of over 35 years from the FMCG sector to Pitaara. He has shouldered diverse roles from a manager to leader with top food brands like Cadbury’s, Kraft Foods, Britannia among others. He joined Pitaara in 2019 and has been instrumental in building our organizational processes. With him at the helm of our snacks division, we have developed efficient systems, established effective manufacturing operations, and achieved high standards of quality and food safety. Through capacity planning, innovation, and project management, he aims to create pathways for consistent growth of the brand.

Aniket Deshpande

Deputy General Manager, Finance

In his role as DGM Finance for the food division, Aniket is responsible for financial, commercial, costing control & strategy. In his career spanning 10 years with the brand, Aniket has been instrumental in setting up stringent financial controls & several standard auditing practices towards overall efficient management operations. Apart from Pitaara, Aniket has also worked across industries from automobiles, to food, IT, construction and more handling various projects from management, accounting & statutory audits among others. He aspires to build a sound financial framework to foster resilience and drive organizational growth for the brand.
